  1. Caleb Williams, QB, USC

USC had the week off but Williams remains atop my Heisman list until further notice.

  2. Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

The best performance of the week for me goes to Sanders, and it wasn’t particularly close. Finishing the game with 348 passing yards with 4 TDs and 1 INT, he delivered clutch play after clutch play for Colorado, including a 98-yard drive capped off by a 2-point conversion to tie the game with 36 seconds to go in regulation. He trails only Penix in passing yards thus far for FBS quarterbacks.

  3. Michael Penix, Jr., QB, Washington

Penix continued to dominate, throwing for 473 yards and 4 TDs with no INTs, leading Washington in a 41-7 win this week. He leads the nation in QBR and passing yards. A very serious threat for this award.

  4. Jordan Travis, QB, Florida State

Travis had a decent game with 212 yards and a couple touchdown throws, coming back from an early injury scare, but couldn’t lead the Noles to any 4th quarter points as they nearly gave up a three touchdown lead to Boston College. A big game at rival Clemson next could make or break his chances.

  5. Sam Hartman, QB, Notre Dame

Hartman moves into my top 5 as he has been as efficient as any quarterback in the country and has led the Irish to a 4-0 start. He has amassed over 1,000 yards passing with 13 TDs and no INTs on the year. A good performance in a win over Ohio State this week could vault him up this list.
